Early Learning: Kindergarten (LKG/UKG)

Classes LKG, UKG have 4 sections each with a maximum strength of 30 students per section. The focus is on all-round development and the teaching is child-oriented. The KG section follows the play way method of instruction. The Pre-Primary teaching broadly uses the Play Way Method to teach the curriculum. Through this method, teachers facilitate students to understand basic concepts of language and numbers thus giving them the first lessons in Life Skills. The Play Way Method is further reinforced by hands-on activities conducted in and out of the classroom. Field Trips, Nature Walks, Celebrations of Festivals, Topic-based Projects, and Science Experiments form a regular and integral part of learning-through-doing.

The block has a separate Vice Principal and friendly teachers who encourages children to express their thoughts and feelings fearlessly as they explore and discover the world around them. The focus is on advancing their language skills, cognitive, socio-emotional, and psychomotor domains.

The pedagogy ensures that children are provided with opportunities to grow and learn in a manner that is best suited to their individual needs. Play is inter-woven with joyful moments that enthuse children with the desire to explore and discover. Hands-on activities form an integral part of the self-learning process. In blended and hybrid classrooms technology provide infinite possibilities to involve the young digital lovers. Parental initiatives greatly enhance student confidence as learner.



Primary School

The transition to the Primary School is seamless and smooth. The curriculum is designed to draw from their experiences and meet the cognitive, and socio-emotional needs of the child. The teachers foster an atmosphere that is personalized, child centered, and favours differentiated teaching for an inclusive classroom.

The enquiry-based pedagogy extends beyond textbooks and inculcates a spirit of investigation that sets children on the path to self-learning. The essential elements of this design are Knowledge, Skills and Action. Students collaborate to work on Interdisciplinary art integrated Projects that highlight sustainable development and conservation of our environment.

The library offers a haven for children and the world of books captivates them, as   their imagination takes wings. Students have the independence to choose books from a wealth of books and discover genres that they enjoy. The Math Lab provide an arena for playful application of concepts learnt and stimulate critical and innovative thinking for problem solving. A plethora of activities including author meets, book discussions, debate and literary clubs are all integrated in the school timetable and ensure that each child gets an opportunity to develop her/his hobbies, and interest.

In classes I & II, the curricular study includes:
English, Mathematics, EVS, Hindi/French/Arabic, Grammar, IT, GK, Value Education, Art, Sports, Music, Games, and Dance.

Till class III the curriculum is theme-based. The idea behind this is to seamlessly integrate various subjects with a common thread which links them to practical aspect of life. This gives our students a holistic view and allows them to learn and correlate various subjects to real-life situations. Hybrid learning is practiced with class room teaching and online Home Work /Exercises / Assignments are delivered through MS Teams.

Curricular subjects in III-V are: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Hindi/French/Arabic, Grammar, IT, General Knowledge, Moral Education, Art, Sports, Music, Games, Dance

The aims of teaching and learning mathematics are to encourage and enable students to recognize that mathematics permeates the world around us and appreciate the usefulness, power and beauty of mathematics. The purpose is achieved through teaching mathematics to the students of Classes I – V in a very innovative manner and develop their abstract, logical and critical thinking. Workbooks strengthen the concepts. NCERT curriculum is strictly followed for academic work.



The Middle School

In the Middle School the curriculum offers a caring, safe, and supportive environment which encourages the young teenager to tackle challenges in a culture of nurtured risk-taking. They are pushed beyond their comfort zones to build on their resilience, character, and robust problem-solving skills.

The enriched academic curriculum in the Middle School focuses on encouraging students to become independent learners and deepen their knowledge and skills in the following five core subjects: 
English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences and Hindi/French/Arabic besides Grammar. IT, General Knowledge, Music, Dance, Kuwait Social Studies, Moral Education, Art Activity, Sports are being taught extensively. Interdisciplinary projects encourage connections to be drawn between all subject areas and learning is a conscious effort that helps them relate to the world they live in. The societal civic program introduces them to participate on active citizenship issues. Talks and deliberations help them to develop the skills of critical thinking, communication and dispositions enable the learners to solve problems logically.

Club activities within the school timetable provide space to explore students’ interest in visual and performing arts, environment study, digital information technology, debating ,extempore, elocution, and literary activities. Homework and Assessments are delivered virtually through MS Teams on day-to-day basis.

Maths Lab Activities
21st century learners with activity-based learning in mathematics and creates a challenging atmosphere for students to hone their mathematical skills. A variety of modern and colourful apparatus help in making teaching and learning of the subject interactive, fun filled and joyful. Learning of mathematical concepts through concrete materials, hands-on-experiences with real life situations help to enhance student’s analytical and critical thinking.

Several students have some phobia when it comes to learning concepts in Mathematics. To make Mathematics fun and vincible, Math Lab activities are planned alongside the curriculum. This helps students in understanding of the Mathematical concepts using tools, shapes, models and real-life situations. CBSE curriculum promotes experiential learning in mathematical concepts with a variety of modern and colourful apparatus. This drives content learning in Mathematics interactive, fun filled and joyful. 21st century learners need to be exposed to learning of mathematical concepts through concrete materials, hands-on-experiences and real-life situations, to enhance their analytical and critical thinking. In the Maths lab, children learn to perform mathematical experiments and solve mathematical puzzles and do project work to supplement their classroom leaning.



The Secondary School

At the Secondary School & Senior Secondary levels, the Program consists of students identifying their potential as they prepare to enter the world of work and assume academic responsibility. The curriculum is designed to appreciate and acknowledge students for their academic creativity, research skills and they grow to be discerning young adults with values and principles that contribute to world community and the environment. The senior teachers of the school have a great contribution in getting best CBSE results.

The Subjects of Study in Classes IX & X are:
Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi / Sanskrit / French, Social St., Value Education, Art & crafts, Sports, Games, Music and Dance.

Health Physical Education, Mass PT, SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action) is a compulsory learning unit of the curriculum.

In Classes XI & XII students are to choose either Science stream or Commerce Stream. Besides English students have the choice of choosing any five subjects of study given below:

Science stream:
1.English 2. Physics 3.Chemistry 4.Mathematis 5.Biology 6. Informatics Practices 7. Entrepreneurship

Commerce Stream:
1.English 2. Accountancy 3. Economics 4. Business Studies 5. Mathematics 6. Entrepreneurship 7. Informatics Practices.

Besides the academic study students are awarded Internal Assessments in General Studies, Health and Physical Education Games and Sports and also in SEWA projects.

NCERT books are followed at the school but the methodology of delivery is supported by additional support books for Examination Preparation. In addition to this , CBSE Question Banks/ CBSE Sample Papers are revised for the pre Board Exams and assessments. Lessons are planned so that students get to learn their subjects in a practical manner with an abundance of projects and activities. Practical Examinations are equally emphasized for high grade performance.
