Principal’s message

“If you want your wards to succeed in this competitive world, put some responsibility on their shoulders today with good studies.” – Abigail Van Buren

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” It is my personal belief that a good education is a foundation for life. This means a good schooling for your ward(s) with an exciting and challenging curriculum is essential to prepare them with foundational learning to succeed in all examinations with higher grades beyond the school and universities.

It is the school’s responsibility to prepare our students for global competence in a Rapidly Changing World, offering discussion -based, project based and service-based educational progrmmes using a mix of school systems such as face -face class room learning , digital learning , in hybrid and flipped modes of learning .Our aim is to support our young learners to attain the necessary global competencies to succeed in the 21st century.

Jabriya Indian School follows a systematic well planned academic work in all core subjects. All students are graded in 9-point grading scale. A system of periodic assessments is made. CBSE suggests using excellent academic practices such as regularity, assignment completion, neatness and upkeep of note books, worksheets, projects, practical trainings, home work submission in all classes. Evaluation and promotion to next grade is based on the cumulative overall performance in the academic year, which includes periodic weekly tests followed by three quarterly terminals culminating in the annual examination.

The students are encouraged for enriching their learning and personality development capabilities in a variety of co-curricular activities like reading dictation, spell-bee, lab activities, projects, Olympiads, dance, music, sports, quizzing, debates, public speaking, elocution, dramatics etc.

Good schooling can be both rewarding and challenging. It is a time when students start to become mature and confident learners. As they begin this year, all students are expected to take responsibility for their learning and their behavior. The success in the school will be determined by student’s willingness to be accountable and take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to them. Become involved in the academics, weekly rounds of tests and periodic examinations and extracurricular activities that are offered at JIS throughout the calendar year.

All students must use their time in the school to develop positive learning habits and good study skills. This is the perfect time to build a foundation of learning strategies that will benefit them in their future endeavors.

The Vice Principals, Supervisors, Coordinators and most importantly the Subject Teachers in the school will have high expectations from their students to perform. I and every member of Jabriya Indian School is looking forward to welcoming our students and working with them to make the learning at JIS a rewarding journey to future success!

I request for parental partnership and effective cooperation with the teachers and a support to school to ensure a joyful schooling for our loving students.
